Should You Invest In Silver Coins, Bars, and Bullion?

Should You Invest In Silver?

So if you have found yourself on this blog post, then I would assume you were trying to find the answer to the question as to whether or not why you should invest in silver. With inflation through the roof, hyperinflation on the way, and student loan debt higher than ever before, paper money is becoming less valuable each and everyday.

Here are some facts…

There has been an 96% decrease in the purchasing power of paper money in the last so many years, versus a 30% increase in the purchasing power of a silver dollar in the exact time. Back in 1966 if you wanted to buy a brand new Mustang, you could do so with $2,500 cash or $2,500 in silver dollars. Today on the other hand, with 2,500 silver dollars, you could purchase three brand new Mustangs and have thousands of dollars left over.

One great thing about precious metals is that they hardly use value. Gold and silver is recognized all across the globe as a form of sound money. Now I want you to ask yourself this simple question… If you collected a silver coin every month for the last five years, would you be better off today?

If you have read Robert Kiyosaki’s Rich Dad Poor Dad or any of the books in his series, you would know that he is a big advocate of people adding to their asset column versus the liability column in the form of a monthly bill or fee. Adding silver or gold to your portfolio is not only the cool thing to do, it diversifies yourself as an investor.

Silver is an easy investment for average everyday people, with its easy availability and low price range to buy a few silver 1 oz coins or silver bars. Along with collectors, many companies that produce electronics are turning to silver because its strength in warm temperatures.

In conclusion, if you are looking to invest in silver, do some research to find which type of silver product meets your budget. Myself, I buy about 3-5 silver 1 oz. coins every month and am building a collection for now. But when silver hits expected prices of $100-$999 per ounce I will be cashing out on a few of my lovely coins…

I will see you on the beaches of the world my friends!
