Avon Review | Should You Become an Avon Rep?
Are you still skeptical about becoming an Avon rep due to some of the claims on the internet?
In this Avon review I will give you a third party, unbiased break down of the company so you can make an educated decision.
This will give you a better idea about Avon, and you will know whether or not you want to become an Avon rep to supplement your income.
What is Avon?
Avon is one of the worlds largest direct sales companies with more than $11 billion in annual revenue and more than 6 million representatives in over 100 countries. Avon products include beauty, fashion and home products and feature their brand names Avon Color, ANEW, Skin-So-Soft, Advance Techniques, Avon Naturals and mark.
Avon has been around for almost 100 years and they are the pioneer of direct sales and home based businesses. Amway, Mary Kay, and other MLM Giants came about and followed Avon’s business model very closely, and both companies are huge successes still today.
Avon was founded by David H. McConnell who was a traveling book salesman at the time. He noticed that women were more interested in the free sample of perfume instead of a copy of his book. This is how the idea of Avon came to light.
During his bookselling days, David H. McConnell also noticed that many of his female clients were stuck at home, while their husbands were hard at work. For this reason, he purposely recruited female sales Representatives. McConnell believed they had a natural ability to network and market to other women, and a passion for his products.
During this period of time, there were limited employment openings for women, so the Avon earnings opportunity was a revolutionary concept. It marked the start of the company’s long and rich history of empowering women around the globe.
Should You Pursue the Avon Opportunity?
Avon is obviously a great company as thousands of women across 100 countries have been able to make part time to full time income through the Avon earning opportunity. There is also a lot of extra money in the tax benefits involved with owning your own home business like Avon.
The only problem you might run into when building a successful Avon business is finding red hot, laser target prospects who are already sold on the idea of joining a direct sales company or MLM, specifically Avon!
Wouldn’t that be SO much easier then hunting down your family and friends trying to sell them on your newest product or opportunity?
Of course it would!
