Should You Take A Break From Your MLM?
This is a question that some of the people on my team and some friends from other network marketing companies have asked me recently so I figured I would write out a blog post addressing it.
In the crazy world of home business and entrepreneurship things can get pretty crazy and hectic. Sales can be up at one moment and down the next. Your team could go from 2,000 people to 200 people and vice-versa. One day you could be writing a killer blog, or writing the rough copy of your first book… and the next moment your computer could freeze, shut off, a number of things causing you to have to start over: it is very frustrating my friends.
The point is no matter were you are at in your home business career you are going to face obstacles, barriers and face people who you never thought could be so stubborn; but facing all these things are GOOD!
It means you are on your way to success!
Which is the one thing most, new, entrepreneurs don’t realize.
So don’t give up and get mad when things start to frustrate you in your home business, its natural and is going to happen. It’s up to you about how you are going to turn the tide and make a good situation out of something bad.
In fact, sometimes things can get so crazy and out of control, that you just need to take a break from it all.
Go on vacation, spend time with your friends and family, go on an adventure, do something you normally wouldn’t do.
I don’t know how many times I have faced a difficult situation in my home business, gone out for a walk, or sat by my pool to clear my head and figured out the answer to my problem.
Its something that usually works time and time again.
Now what if you go out, clear you head, and still can’t figure out the solution?
Then I recommend taking a longer break from your home business and reflecting on everything you have done to make you money from home.
Go back to the drawing board, see what worked for you in the past and apply to what you are doing now.
If you don’t have any past success in home business go out and buy some training, you would be surprised at how much you will learn when you spend money on your education instead of trying to figure out home business the hard way.
The difference is night and day between an experience marketer and a newbie, the only distinguishing fact between the two is that the experienced marketers has put blood, sweat, and tears into their education and business; where as the newbie may look for the cheap inexpensive way to succeed.
So back to the original question of should you take breaks from your home business? The answer is yes, it is always good to get a way from it all and step outside, go on vacation, do whatever it is you need to do to truly clear your mind and come back harder then ever before.
If you want to start working for yourself but feel you don’t have the money then you’re wrong. If you have a computer and space to put it then you have all you need. You can also start you home business and work it around your job. You can gradually commit more time as your home business grows.
If you’re tired of your job and really want to work for yourself then stop making excuses and do it.
