If you have toxic friends or family who bring you down, make fun of your goals & dreams, cut them off ASAP!
Don’t stoop down to their level & try to treat them how they treated you.. sometimes blocking these negative Nancy’s on social media is not enough.. you must block them in real life as well!
I know it’s hard & might take days, weeks or months to forget about them & the mean things they said to you..
Just keep it moving!
Nowadays I LOVE when people try to bring me down or make fun of what I’m doing lol it just adds fuel to the fire baby!! As soon as I cut out these people from my life, every aspect of my life got better.. I went from 4 years of writers block to pumping out a new book in less than a month.. and the reviews are GREAT so far!
I went from feeling tired and lethargic all the time to having more energy than ever before… YES it’s true, some people are literally energy draining vampires and surrounding yourself with them can physically drain you of feeling GREAT!
Hangout with those who LOVE YOU & support you.. those who were there for you when you were emotionally in the gutter, or in a dark place mentally.. those are the only people you should surround yourself with.. period!
Just focus on being 1% better than you were yesterday.. do 21 push ups instead of 20.. walk 2 miles instead of 1.5.. constantly improve yourself & improve your circle and your life WILL get better! Look I’m not some self proclaimed self-help guru douche trying to make money by telling you guys how to live your life.. I just share what was personally worked for ME!
Try this for a week.. and promise me that you’ll get back to me and let me know how you feel physically, spiritually, emotionally..
Fix all those aspects of your life FIRST and watch your business and finances fall into place… Love you guys!

I appreciate you guys.
I remember my first Amway meeting at my local Best Western Hotel lobby lol. This is where I learned the difference between employee/business owner which was crucial… especially at my age. I was fresh out of high school (okay so I dropped out) and deciding between college, military or this home business thing. I tried my local colleges business administration program for 8 months but like high school, it just wasn’t for me.
On top of that I couldn’t join the military because I couldn’t pass a drug test.. all of my income went straight to pills and pot… The thought of snorting pills still makes me gag to this day.
My only option was this home business deal known as Amway so I took $150 out of savings to join.
I thought I was investing in business ownership, but it was something much more. It was mentorship, new friends, the ability to travel, but most importantly, it was the personal development books and audios that I was introduced to that would finally set me free. Not financially free (just yet) but from hard drugs and my addictive personality.
Everyone has a story about their past, good or bad.
People need to hear your story folks… you might save someones life.
Unfortunately there are too many jive turkeys in this industry who put on a show by censoring their posts, copy and pasting Zig Ziglar quotes and not speaking their mind. I may be unorthodox, I may be controversial, but nobody can deny that I’m as real as it gets.
I don’t hold back, neither should you. Period.
Here I am 5 yrs later, published author with multi-million dollar deals in my email. Don’t forget where you came from!
Check out this 1 hr and 20 min video of Dr. Wayne Dyer, “the Father of Motivation,” shares pearls of wisdom at a keynote address on how each of us can overcome the obstacles we face everyday in self-motivation.
People ask me how I stay so motivated when working from home or a big project online. I typically will start my day with a motivational video like the one you see above on the topics of personal development, self-help or motivation.
I recently signed up for a life long personal performance journey.
I am always investing in myself as far as furthering my education, and when I saw this program for the first time, I knew it was something very unique.
I immediately filled out the form and started diving into the videos and audios available inside the secret members area.
I don’t always recommend these programs because a lot of them are filled with hype or overpriced, but this one is different than anything I’ve ever seen before, and I feel it is my obligation to share it with you guys, my readers!
Hey everyone! Hope you guys are having a great weekend and getting ready for Mother’s day tomorrow.
Today I wanted to share another Free audio book with you guys. I have been busy working on my 2nd book and other business projects, so I haven’t been blogging a few times a week like I used to and I hope you guys don’t mind. I will be back to my regular writing and blog posts in the next few weeks.
Until then, I hope you enjoy this free audio book version of ‘The Psychology of Winning‘ by Dr. Denis Waitley.

Everyone, at some point of his or her life, has dreamed of being somebody special, somebody big. Who hasn’t fantasized about being the one who hits the championship winning homer? Who hasn’t dreamed of being the homecoming queen? And how many times have we dreamed of being rich, or successful, or happy with our relationships?
Often, we dream big dreams and have great aspirations. Unfortunately, our dreams remain just that – dreams. And our aspirations easily collect dust in our attic.
This is a sad turn of events in our life. Instead of experiencing exciting adventures in self actualization, we get caught up in the humdrum of living from day-to-day just barely existing.
But you know what? Life could be so much better, if only we learned to aim higher.
The most common problem to setting goals is the word impossible. Most people get hung up thinking I can’t do this. It’s too hard. It’s too impossible. No one can do this.
However, if everyone thought that, there would be no inventions, no innovations, and no breakthroughs in human accomplishment.
Remember that scientists were baffled when they took a look at the humble bumblebee. Theoretically, they said, it was impossible for the bumblebee to fly. Unfortunately for the bumble, bee no one has told it so. So fly it does.
On the other hand, some people suffer from dreaming totally outrageous dreams and not acting on them. The result? Broken dreams, and tattered aspirations.
If you limit yourself with self-doubt, and self-limiting assumptions, you will never be able to break past what you deem impossible. If you reach too far out into the sky without working towards your goal, you will find yourself clinging on to the impossible dream.
Try this exercise. Take a piece of paper and write down some goals in your life. Under one header, list down things ‘you know you can do’. Under another header, write the things ‘you might be able to do.’ And under one more, list the things that that are ‘impossible for you to do.’
Now look at all the headers strive every day to accomplish the goals that are under things ‘you know you can do’. Check them when you are able to accomplish them. As you slowly are able to check all of your goals under that heading, try accomplishing the goals under the other header-the one that reads ‘you might be able to do.’
As of the items you wrote under things I could do are accomplished, you can move the goals that are under things that are ‘impossible for you to do’ to the list of things ‘you might be able to do.’
As you iterate through this process, you will find out that the goals you thought were impossible become easier to accomplish. And the impossible begin to seem possible after all.
You see, the technique here is not to limit your imagination. It is to aim high, and start working towards that goal little by little. However, it also is unwise to set a goal that is truly unrealistic.
Those who just dream towards a goal without working hard end up disappointed and disillusioned.
On the other hand, if you told someone a hundred years ago that it was possible for man to be on the moon, they would laugh at you. If you had told them that you could send mail from here to the other side of the world in a few seconds, they would say you were out of your mind. But, through sheer desire and perseverance, these impossible dreams are now realities.
Thomas Edison once said that genius is 1% inspiration and 99% perspiration. Nothing could be truer. For one to accomplish his or her dreams, there has to be had work and discipline. But take note that that 1% has to be a think-big dream, and not some easily accomplished one.
Ask any gym rat and he or she will tell you that there can be no gains unless you are put out of your comfort zone. Remember the saying, “No pain, no gain”? That is as true as it can be.
So dream on, friend!
Don’t get caught up with your perceived limitations.
Think big and work hard to attain those dreams. As you step up the ladder of progress, you will just about find out that the impossible has just become a little bit more possible.
Personal Development: Keys to Self Improvement and Motivation
What are the three keys to self improvement and motivation?
Inspiration is critical to staying motivated and improving oneself. If you are not interested in your business, your motivation level will never be high and you will not be able to sustain interest for very long.
Take an honest look at your inspiration level. Are you excited about going to work or is it an obligation? You would be surprised at the number of people who choose a business that looks good on paper, but in reality does not interest them in the least.
These individuals will grow weary and uninterested pretty quickly because they have no inspiration or passion to sustain them during the difficult times they will encounter as a small business owner.
If you do not like your work, then think how you can re-focus your small business to better match your needs. Or consider making a change entirely. Without inspiration, there will not be motivated to even try self improvement.
2. SETTING GOALS.
Short and long-term goal setting is vital for any business owner. If you do not set goals, you would have no definite purpose on which path of self improvement to take.
How could you possibly be motivated if you were unsure about the direction of your company?
Take the time to put your goals in writing. A business plan may sound daunting, but it is really nothing more than goals, strategies, implementation and a budget. Write your own business plan and update it at least annually.
Include “mini-goals” that can be accomplished in a matter of hours, days or weeks as well as the more ambitious “grand-goals” that may take years to complete. Refer to this plan throughout the year.
But can a business plan really help motivate you? Of course. Written goals will make you feel more professional and certainly more connected to your business. It will also free you from having to reinvent your business goals every single day.
Another key factor in getting and staying motivated is networking with other small business owners. No one person knows all the knowledge.
However, when a number of people begin working together, the challenges will just be there waiting to be conquered.
In fact, the isolation of working alone is of one the most difficult parts of being an entrepreneur. You can never be on your way to self improvement without the help of others. Mutual support is motivating.
Make it easier on yourself by connecting with others either in your community or online. Even when businesses are not related, you will often find common ground and ways to work together.
Many successful entrepreneurs report that finding the right networking group was a turning point in the growth of the business. Working together, a networking group can help its members generate more qualified sales leads and solve problems faster and more efficiently.
Sharing ideas, expertise and experience is also an invaluable aspect of motivation and self improvement. Your own personal team of business owners will help re-energize you when the burdens of running your own business seem too much.
With your networking team to rely on, you can accomplish more in less time and probably have more fun in the process. You will feel motivated to accomplish self improvement when you know you are not alone.
